Training

Yesterday afternoon I jogged 4,850K (3M) near the Lake. In the meantime Frimousse’s Mistress was running 11K (7M) along the side of the Lake – on the cycle path on the way back. And Elouan was cycling 30K (18M) D+450m (1500ft) near his place.

A Saturday for…

A Saturday for sport… For me my little 4.5K D+200m tour. For Elouan and Maxime Col du Clergeon between Rumilly and the Rhône. For the Mistress of Frimousse and three friends(s) of hers just over 50K D+1000m by bike in the Bauges.

75 7 4,6

Yesterday was last day before school for Elouan. In the morning, on his bike, 75 km D+ 1100 on the roads of Bauges. The Mistress of Frimousse, one small jog near the Lake, 7 km D+ 60. As for me, with difficulty, 4,6km D+ 200 starting from our house – and the same for me this Tuesday morning.

Last day of August

This morning same place, almost the same time. Her ankles are almost a memory. Let’s touch wood!

This afternoon, in Annecy, Martin Fourcade Nordic Festival. A show organised with lots of biathlon champions – nordic skiing + rifle shooting. They are there ! And so are Kerrian and Elouan. Not enough snow (!) therefore roller-skiing instead of nordic skiing.

Chamonix (3)

They are having a picnic at the Plan de l’Aiguille hut, not far from the intermediate station of the Aiguille du Midi cable car. View of the Junction. Then they’ll walk to Montenvers. In the meantime, Christophe is cycling around Lake of Aix-les-Bains. As an aperitif. Arthur, yesterday, in Ardèche, had the right to give in to greed, didn’t he?

Chamonix (2)

This morning they walked up to La Flégère and along the path to chalet de Chéserys, then walked down to les Montets where they took the train to go back to Chamonix. The ankles of Frimousse’s Mistress are okay for the time being. Elouan is in Ardèche with Arthur doing sport. Today was swimming and playing tennis. As far as I’m concerned I haven’t done any sport for nearly a month. Shall I try a little walk round here in the morning tomorrow ?
